Fossil Trace Junior Golf

The FTGC Junior Golf Camp offers a week long opportunity for a junior to be introduced to all aspects of learning the game of golf. Our talented instructors will encourage a positive attitude, provide an organized learning experience & promote social skills and friendships. The camps will also include:
• Full swing, chipping, pitching, putting & golf rules and etiquette.
• Junior athletic development training structured using the Titleist Performance Institute Junior Cyclone program.
• Presenting junior golf skills and fundamentals using qualified and enthusiastic instruction with emphasis on long term development and fun.
• Contests, prizes, daily refreshments and snacks.
• Junior Camp Gift Package including Fossil Trace logo golf shirt, junior golf program achievement certificate, 4-bucket range pass, and a complimentary pass for The Splash at Fossil Trace. (Gift Pack value of $65)

The FTGC Junior Golf Camp utilizes the latest in junior golf training techniques as developed by the Titleist Performance Institute. Research has shown that juniors will improve their golf swing at an accelerated rate if they work to develop their fundamental movement skills in addition to golf specific training techniques.
This includes developing basic athletic movements such as agility, kicking, pushing/pulling, striking, locomotion, catching, balance, jumping, throwing, visualization, body rotation, and core strength.

The 4-week FTGC Junior Golf Clinic is offered on consecutive Saturday mornings throughout the golf season. Each of the four (4) 1-hour sessions will cover various aspects of the game, including full swing and short game(chipping, pitching & putting), basic rules & golf etiquette and fun practice games for the junior golfers.
All Junior Golf Clinics take place on Saturdays.
