Why Fossil Trace Golf Club?

Located in Golden, Colorado – Fossil Trace Golf Club is nestled adjacent to the foothills of the Rocky Mountain Front Range and only 15-minutes from downtown Denver and in close proximity to other suburban areas including Littleton, Lakewood, Evergreen, Arvada and Boulder.  Your guests will certainly appreciate the short trip to an extraordinary golf experience.

The golf course opened in July of 2003, approximately 64-million years after the first dinosaurs walked where holes #11 through #15 now sit. Triceratops footprints, as well as other prehistoric creatures’ fossils can be viewed adjacent to the golf course’s 12th green. In addition to the prehistoric relics at Fossil Trace Golf Club, several massive remnants of clay mining equipment can be seen throughout the golf course layout. Your guests will find it difficult to leave Fossil Trace without a memorable moment provided by the Jim Engh layout.

Fossil Trace Golf Club takes great pride in managing and hosting golf events.  Whether you’re a group of 16 or 160, the dedicated staff at Fossil Trace will go above and beyond to ensure a memorable golf experience.
